New Associate Program - Business Real Estate Group (BREG)
In 2003 the KTS Business Real Estate Group implemented a BREG "New Associate Program." The program offers new associates the opportunity to work closely with a designated partner for one or several of the niche areas within the BREG division.

Associates are part of a 12-month structured learning program* to provide a mutual comprehensive learning cycle for them and for the firm. The 12-month program enables the firm to assess the associates' technical legal skills, business acumen, strengths, areas for growth, interest areas, and ability to interact with clients on a daily basis. The year provides ongoing encouragement and opportunity for associates to attend MCLE and industry-related functions to both hone their knowledge base and interact with our clients in an industry setting.

Upon successful completion of the introductory program, KTS' goal is to have an ongoing employment relationship with the associates, with the expectation that they will then peform work at a more senior level and interact with clients - both existing and prospective - with greater independence.

*Despite the 12-month structure of the program, associates remain at-will employees.
