Statewide law firm is currently seeking a dynamic Case Manager for our Irvine office. With 40 years working in the California legal industry and 5 offices statewide, our firm has experienced continuous growth. It is our firm’s mission to provide the highest quality, cost-effective legal services to our clients.
POSITION PURPOSE:

To assist and respond to clients and attorneys, as well as ensure timely follow up on inquiries of a non-legal nature. Position is one of case management and administration of unlawful detainer lawsuits. The Case Manager position is critical to ensuring ongoing client business.

Position is full-time, Monday-Thursday; 8:30am-5:30pm; Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
This position involves high volume phone and email contact with the courts, sheriff departments, and internal and external clients to provide timely status and other deadline-oriented information. Majority of client contact is conducted by phone and e-mail. Daily updating of case files. Case Managers ensure timely responses to client questions and concerns. Case management includes billing responsibilities on an as-needed basis.
This position also provides coverage for the receptionist during breaks and as needed on a rotating basis.
REQUIRED:
Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute. Strong administrative experience, exceptional customer service skills, versatile computer skills, and ability to multi-task. Professional telephone demeanor in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment. Ability to work as a team player.
PREFERRED:

Some legal knowledge. Experience in billing (or billing certification), case management, or property management. Customer service background in a high-volume phone environment. Unlawful detainer experience is a plus.
