We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our Irvine office is looking for a temporary Claims Assistant to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Landlord Tenant practice group in small claims cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients regarding the status of their case and to send and receive documents
  • Assist in filing legal documents with the court
  • Manage and maintain a docket of active and upcoming cases and spreadsheets
  • Coordinate with process servers to ensure the timely service of legal documents

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Previous administrative office experience
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work against inflexible deadlines in a team environment

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Law firm experience
  • Previous claims experience

Schedule:

Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months. Opportunity for permanent employment may be available based on business needs and the successful candidate’s performance.

This position will be performed exclusively from the office. We are not considering remote candidates at this time.
