We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for a Client Service Representative to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for reviewing collections accounts for accuracy and completeness and processing a high-volume of documents relating to incoming collection files. There will be heavy contact with clients, verbally and in writing, to request documents and answer questions.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and paralegal support for the Business and Real Estate practice group with efficient and timely production of all requested work product to ensure that clients are provided the highest level of service on a daily basis. Job functions include, but are not limited to,

  • Preparation of legal documents,
  • Sorting and scanning mail
  • Calendaring and confirming appointments,
  • Serve, copy and file documents with the court
  • Transcription
  • New client intake
  • Filing
  • Managing a busy workload
  • Preparing and finalizing pre-bills
  • General administrative and paralegal support for the attorneys

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • General business litigation experience
  • Paralegal certificate
  • Familiarity with ProLaw or other type of document management system
  • Must type 70+ WPM
  • Extremely well organized and ability to multitask
  • Must be an outgoing individual with well-developed interpersonal and client service skills
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with inflexible deadlines/high-volume workload

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Knowledge of federal, state and appellate procedure pertaining to format and timing of discovery, trial, disclosures and pleadings.

Schedule:

Position is full-time, Monday-Thursday; 8:30am-5:30pm; Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

We currently offer a hybrid in-office/remote work model in accordance with our COVID-19 Temporary Remote Work Policy. New hire employees will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a possible hybrid schedule under this policy, subject to approval by their supervisor.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00, depending on experience.
