We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for an Intake Liaison to join our fast-paced team. If chosen as the successful candidate, you will be responsible for assisting our attorneys at the case intake level, ensuring that all facets related to a new case are present, which would include contacting clients for necessary documentation and missing information, as well as drafting letters and legal notices as needed to tenants who have breached their lease obligations with corresponding follow up tasks to keep the matters progressing in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Review residential leases and client documents to identify lease violations
  • Communicate with clients to obtain relevant information necessary to draft letters and legal notices
  • Draft legal notices, letters, and stipulations for unlawful detainer cases
  • Communicate with clients regarding status of their cases
  • Assist with case intake and data entry
  • Assist with follow-up tasks to keep files moving

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Ability to use proper grammar and communicate professionally in writing
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Professional communication skills via telephone and email
  • Minimum typing speed of 65 wpm
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a law firm
  • ProLaw experience
  • 2+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field.

Schedule:

Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.

We currently offer a hybrid in-office/remote work model in accordance with our COVID-19 Temporary Remote Work Policy. New hire employees will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office as deemed necessary for the position by the firm before transitioning to a possible hybrid schedule under this policy, subject to approval by their supervisor.
