Jamie Sternberg, Esq.
On February 5, 2019, the City of Santa Clara adopted a new Smoking and Tobacco Regulations Ordinance, expanding smoking restrictions in multi-unit residences effective August 1, 2019. (It also expanded smoke free restrictions in many public areas).
- It requires no smoking signs to be posted, certain lease provisions, and written notice to violators.
- It also prohibits smoking in places of employment in the City of Santa Clara, and requires that employers maintain a written smoking policy.
For assistance complying with the new ordinance, contact Jamie Sternberg at (619)744-0863 or Jamie.Sternberg@kts-law.com.
