Raymond Hora is a trial attorney in our Concord office. Mr. Hora handles landlord/tenant, post-foreclosure eviction and unlawful detainer matters. Raymond also has extensive litigation experience at the state, federal and appellate levels in California and Florida; as well as various arbitration forums. Raymond has represented multiple financial institution lenders in consumer finance litigation, defending claims brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Billing Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Truth-in-Lending Act, Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act, California Unfair Business Practices Act and California Homeowner Bill of Rights. Raymond also has experience in complex commercial litigation, class action defense, cryptocurrency litigation, commercial collection work and debt recovery claims for national banks.
Prior to joining Kimball, Tirey & St. John LLP, Raymond obtained broad first chair trial experience in prosecuting residential and commercial mortgage foreclosure cases, defending wrongful foreclosure actions, breach of contract claims, administrative proceedings, and title litigation.
