DESCRIPTION:

This class will provide an overview of the protections under domestic violence with the updated changes from 2020 through 2023. The laws have expanded the categories of crimes, those protected, and potential liability for failure to comply with the laws. It will also provide an overview of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) which for many housing providers may be a new subject.
