Pasadena enacted Rent Control and Eviction Control that became effective on December 22, 2022. There have been a lot of questions and confusion about how to implement the provisions of the law into property management. The ambiguity of Measure H has been exacerbated by the facts that many provisions require approval by the rental board which as not been created yet and the fact that there is pending litigation over Measure H’s validity.
