DESCRIPTION: The Tenant Protection Act of 2019 (TPA) also commonly referred to as AB 1482 became effective in 2020. Since then the law has been clarified and had additional changes through AB 3088 (2020) and SB 567 (2024). This program will provide an updated course for compliance discussing both the rent caps and the just cause measures. It will also provide some insight on common misconceptions of the law and how it applies and interacts with local provisions.
