Mold Booklet for California Residential Landlords

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has published a mold booklet entitled “Information on Dampness and Mold for Renters in California.” It describes the increased risks to health, including specific health issues, that may result from exposures to dampness or mold in buildings. Beginning January 1, 2022, it must be provided by residential property owners to all prospective tenants, in accordance with California Health & Safety Code §26148. It is available in English and Spanish.
